Anyone who came to a men's match during our last season always noticed one player: Mike Knepp. Recently, an article about him was published in his local paper in Pennsylvania. I especially like the picture that is with the article. I think it is one of the best pictures taken during the season and it probably summarizes Mike's style of play better than any other picture.
Mike also had a great year for our basketball team and I am confident that both teams can build around him in the coming years. We have several strong recruits on the way and our team is going to get better simply through experience. We had one of our most talented freshman classes in some time - they just need experience.

We are privileged to have Mike at our church, helping in the Awana program and aiding our men's basketball team. My younger son told me he beat Mike at an Awana game called Lions, Tigers & Bears, but later admitted that Mr. Mike let him win by slowing down. Our boys also enjoy watching Mike dunk. He is a talented yet unselfish player on the court.
