Today is the beginning of preseason at Maranatha. This is one of my favorite weeks of the entire year. All we have to worry about is soccer for an entire week. Meeting many of the recruits for the first time is like opening a Christmas present. Practices have so much energy. Everyone is looking forward to the season. I will be sharing some preseason thoughts as well as a few pictures in the next few days. - C

HAVE FUN at pre-season!! Now that you mention it, I MISS just playing soccer all day during preseason!! I remember almost quitting my freshman year cuz you made us run A TON!!! I almost decided it wasn't worth it. I'm really glad I didn't quit =).
I can't wait to come and play in a couple weeks...but I am going to be the most out of shape that I have EVER been. I didn't run at all this summer. I haven't ran since before my ankle surgery back in April. YIKES!! This all said to encourage you that your team has a SLIGHT chance of maybe only losing by ONE goal to the alumni now since old KJ might not make it down the field to score this time around...hahhaha.
I'm gonna take out that Kowalcyk girl...she's goin down =P. Tell her I love her...even though she won't let me borrow her car when I fly in...lil goober!! (give her a VERY hard time for me)!!

Jen and Haley think that this will be the best chance that the alumni have of ever winning a game. . .they are talking a little trash this week. . . You'd better bring it!
oh, I will!!! I may still give 100% in random spurts...but those lil spurts will be good!!...hahaha
COACH! I am with Kaje. I am total soccer withdrawl right now. Just anxiously anticipating next weekend. I also plan to be there for the FRIDAY games - yeah!!!
